Homemade Quick Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

I normally pick up breakfast on the way to work at a drive-thru. After deciding to start eating better I looked up the calories I found out I was consuming almost 1000 calories just for breakfast. So I needed a breakfast that was quick and easy to make before work. I enjoy oatmeal so I started making this recipe which cut my breakfast to about 225 calories plus I saved around $25-$35 per week.

I measure out all the ingredients and put them in zip lock bags. With one container of quick oats I can make about 10 meals.

  1. Add all the ingredients to a bowl with one cup boiling water. Wait about a minute for the oats to absorb the water and then enjoy.
